Transport to Spain, Portugal and Andorra – your specialist for the Iberian Peninsula
Alongside Italy, Spain is our second core country. As an owner-managed forwarder with over 50 years of experience, we deliver your goods reliably to the Iberian Peninsula – to Spain, Portugal and Andorra. On this core lane we use our own equipment and run the services regularly and daily, in both import and export. This combines firm plannability with the flexibility to find the right solution for every consignment.
Daily services to Spain and Portugal
Whether Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, the Basque Country or the greater Lisbon and Porto area: we serve the Iberian Peninsula with daily departures in both directions. Because Spain is one of our core lanes, we run our own fleet here – complemented by exclusively dedicated capacity from our long-standing local lane partners. That gives you reliable transit times and fixed contacts instead of anonymous hotlines.
Every load type – from groupage to full loads
Depending on the requirement and lane we draw on our own equipment, our fixed-charter fleet or our long-standing lane partners – 100% under our own control.
FTL
Direct services for maximum reliability – direct and without transhipment.
LTL
Flexible when you don't need the full loading space.
Groupage
Efficiently consolidated for smaller consignments.
Our fleet comprises modern tractor units as well as code-XL curtain-siders, coil and standard trailers – for standard goods just as much as for demanding loads. This secures capacity and on-time performance even at peak times.

Frequently asked questions about transport to Spain and Portugal
Which load types do you transport to Spain and Portugal?
We cover the full range: groupage, part loads (LTL) and full loads (FTL) – combined from a single source on request.
How long does transport to Spain or Portugal take?
The standard transit time depends mainly on the destination region and the type of transport, e.g. 3–9 working days from collection in Northern Germany. We reach northern Spain and Catalonia fastest; central Spain, the south and Portugal take correspondingly longer. Full loads (FTL) are fastest in direct service, while part loads and groupage (LTL/groupage) take a little longer due to consolidation.
Do you serve Spain with your own equipment?
Yes. Spain is one of our core lanes: we serve it with our own fleet and exclusively dedicated fixed-charter capacity in daily direct service. Planning and monitoring are handled entirely in-house – you have a fixed contact and full shipment transparency.
Do you serve Portugal as well?
Yes. We serve the entire Iberian Peninsula from a single source: Portugal – from Lisbon and Porto to the Algarve region – is covered via the same lane as Spain, in both import and export.
Do customs charges apply for Spain and Portugal?
No. Spain and Portugal are part of the EU – your goods move freely within the single market and customs formalities do not apply. For overseas imports via the Iberian ports we handle the complete process on request through our customs service and our sea freight.
How do I find out where my shipment currently is?
Our tractor units (Webfleet) and trailers (Nexxiot) are connected – we can reliably tell you the location and estimated arrival at any time.
Sustainability
Responsibility on road and rail: we rely on a modern, low-emission fleet and forward-looking planning. Through fixed round trips we avoid empty runs and bundle loads efficiently – reducing CO₂ emissions per tonne transported. Where it makes sense, we shift the main leg onto climate-friendly rail. You can read about how we implement "green logistics" company-wide on our sustainability page.
