Transport to Serbia – your partner for the Germany–Serbia lane
We serve Serbia with exclusively dedicated capacity in both directions – regularly in import and export. Whether groupage, part or full loads: you speak with a dedicated team that runs the Serbia lane continuously, and benefit from direct planning, seamless shipment transparency and our logistics expertise for South-Eastern Europe.
From Vojvodina in the north (Novi Sad, Subotica) via the Belgrade metropolitan region and Šumadija through to western, eastern and southern Serbia (Niš), we reach the whole country reliably and predictably – by direct road freight on the established Balkan corridors. As Serbia is not part of the EU, customs formalities apply: these we handle for you in full as an AEO-certified forwarder.
Regular direct services to Serbia
Unlike our Italian services, which we run by combined transport on rail, we serve Serbia by direct road freight on the Balkan corridor – by truck via Hungary and the border crossings into Serbia (including Horgoš and Batrovci). For the direct service we use exclusively dedicated fixed-charter capacity and – when required – our own equipment, controlled and continuously monitored from our Bremen operations desk. Fixed departures in both directions ensure plannable transit times, high on-time performance and a low damage rate. As third-country traffic, export from the EU and import into Serbia must be cleared for customs – we handle both from a single source, including the preferential arrangement of the EU–Serbia Stabilisation and Association Agreement (duty-reduced with proven origin).
Every load type – from groupage to full loads
Depending on the requirement and lane we draw on our own equipment, our fixed-charter fleet or our long-standing lane partners – 100% under our own control.
FTL
Direct services for maximum reliability – direct and without transhipment.
LTL
Flexible when you don't need the full loading space.
Groupage
Efficiently consolidated for smaller consignments.
Our fleet comprises modern tractor units as well as code-XL curtain-siders, coil and standard trailers – for standard goods just as much as for demanding loads. This secures capacity and on-time performance even at peak times.

Under the EU–Serbia Stabilisation and Association Agreement, originating goods are duty-reduced – we issue the EUR.1 or statement on origin.
T1/T2 transit procedure and TIR Carnet for transit through non-EU countries – secure, continuous border clearance.
EU EORI number, CMR consignment note, commercial invoice, packing list and, where applicable, proof of origin – we prepare these with you.
Handling of Serbian import duties; for imports into the EU we handle import VAT and, on request, fiscal representation.

We cover the full range: groupage, part loads and full loads – combined from a single source on request, including customs clearance.
Do you serve Serbia with your own equipment?
Yes. We serve Serbia with exclusively dedicated capacity in both directions. When required, we can flexibly fall back on our own fleet at any time.
Is customs duty payable for Serbia?
Yes. Serbia is not part of the EU and is a third country – every shipment requires export and import customs formalities. Under the EU–Serbia Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA), originating goods are duty-reduced on presentation of proof (EUR.1 or statement on origin). We handle the complete process as an AEO-certified forwarder.
Which documents do I need?
As a rule an EU EORI number, commercial invoice, packing list and CMR consignment note; for the SAA preference, additionally a EUR.1 or a statement on origin. We prepare the customs declarations and the transit procedure (T1) for you.
How long does a transport to Serbia take?
Depending on the region and transport type, expect 4 to 8 working days (guide value: theoretical truck driving time incl. border and customs clearance, plus max. 2–3 working days). Vojvodina is reached fastest; southern and eastern Serbia take correspondingly longer. You will find the region-specific transit times in the table above.
How do I find out where my shipment currently is?
All tractor units (Webfleet) and trailers (Nexxiot) are connected – we can reliably tell you the location and estimated arrival at any time.
Sustainability
Responsibility on road and rail: we rely on a modern, low-emission fleet and forward-looking planning. Through fixed round trips we avoid empty runs and bundle loads efficiently – reducing CO₂ emissions per tonne transported. Where it makes sense, we shift the main leg onto climate-friendly rail. You can read about how we implement "green logistics" company-wide on our sustainability page.
